Discover how Informit Explore and Explore Media’s academic databases elevate digital research and media literacy in your school library. This discovery session introduces library staff to Informit’s integrated platforms, showcasing how curriculum‑aligned articles, teacher‑written topic summaries, documentaries, films, and Australia’s largest news‑video archive work together to support student learning across Years 7–12.
You’ll see how Explore’s guided research tools help students build confidence with inquiry tasks, and how Explore Media’s documentaries, films, and interactive Screen Guides can be used to enrich English, HASS, Media Arts, and cross‑curricular projects. We’ll also highlight practical ways library teams can use these platforms to support teachers, curate resources, and strengthen digital and media‑literacy skills.
