ATOM Conference 2026

The conference focusses on Media education, creativity, and innovation and brings together Media educators from Primary, Secondary, and VET settings.

Providing a dynamic opportunity to connect with colleagues, share ideas, explore emerging trends, and discover practical strategies to energise classroom practice.

Through seminars, workshops, and presentations led by expert educators and industry professionals, attendees will engage with the latest thinking in Media, screen literacy, storytelling, production, and digital technologies.

The conference also serves as an important forum for collaboration across the education and screen sectors, showcasing leadership, expertise, and best practice within Media education.

Hosted at ACMI, Australia’s national museum of screen culture, the conference enables teachers to immerse themselves in world-class cinemas, exhibitions, and creative learning spaces while celebrating the power and importance of Media education in contemporary classrooms.

Registration opens 8.30am and the event ends 3pm followed by networking.
